Element Nightclub - 919 Douglas Street, Victoria, B.C.
Kardinal has one of the hottest songs in the world right now... burnin' up the airwaves and rockin' steady in clubs, you must've been under a rock if you haven't heard the infectious groove of "Dangerous" (ft. Akon). Plus... Kardinal's new singles "Set It Off" (ft. Clipse) and "Numba 1 (Tide Is High)" (ft. Keri Hilson) are burnin' up the charts and top DJ's playlists with force.
All of these cuts are featured on Kardinal's hot new album "Not For Sale", which is in stores now.
Kardinal Offishall is a Canadian hip-hop artist and producer. He is often credited as Canada's "hip-hop ambassador", and is well known for his reggae and dancehall-influenced style of hip-hop.
Kardinal made two appearances on BET’s Rap City (even freestyling in the booth with Big Tigger), and on MTV’s Advance Warning (which introduces the world to artists on the verge of breaking big, like former guest Kanye West). Kardinal has made guest appearances in music videos such as Rihanna's "Pon De Replay", Sean Paul's "Get Busy", Estelle's "American Boy", DJ Khaled's "Out Here Grindin" and Akon's "I'm So Paid". He has also appeared on mixtapes from DJ Clinton Sparks and DJ Green Lantern. He recently made a special appearance on Fuse TV's "Redemption Song".
At the 2006 MuchMusic Video Awards, Kardinal walked away with 3 awards for "Everyday (Rudebwoy)", including Best Video, Best Director (RT!) and VideoFACT Award. At the MMVA's, he announced that he had an upcoming collaboration with the Canadian Reggae Band Bedouin Soundclash, now known as the single "Last Standing Soldier" (Remix).
